Standard Juvenile Report (Preliminary Inquiry, Pre-dispositional Report and Modification Reports), IYAS Policy, and Technology Updates – Effective July 1, 2025

The Judicial Conference Board of Directors approved the changes to the Standard Juvenile Reports and the IYAS Policy, effective July 1, 2025, to comply with the requirements of HEA 1359-2022, recommendations from the YJOC, and requests from probation staff. Alongside these changes, the technology in both INcite and Quest will be updated to meet these required changes.

The statutory changes from HEA 1359-2022 require completing the validated screening and assessment instruments in advance of key decisions (e.g., detention, diversion, disposition, etc.) and providing those results within the Standard Juvenile Reports to decision makers for use in their decision-making process.
