The Governor’s Office for Drug Prevention, Treatment, and Enforcement has partnered with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction in launching Atlas® (Addiction Treatment Locator, Assessment, and Standards platform) as the state’s official addiction treatment locator next month.

Atlas is intended to help individuals seeking addiction treatment find high-quality and appropriate care. As an additional tool in our toolbox, Atlas is just one more way that Hoosiers looking for the most appropriate drug and alcohol treatment and resources will be able to find the help they need and deserve.

Indiana’s probation officers play a critical role in helping us successfully roll this out to the public. Over the next several weeks, a series of training sessions will be held for stakeholders who interact with individuals with substance use disorder on a regular basis. During these one-hour sessions, an Atlas representative will demonstrate how to navigate the tool and answer any questions. We strongly urge anyone who regularly interacts with this population to participate in a training session ahead of the September 29th launch.

Dates for each training session are listed below.  Please mark your calendar to attend one of these sessions.  Zoom links will be forthcoming.

Training 1 – August 22: 9-10 a.m.

Training 2 – August 23: 12-1 p.m.
