Nominations Accepted for the Sgt. Steven P. Mennemeyer Memorial Award from the Veteran’s Court of Southern Indiana

The Veteran’s Court of Southern Indiana is now accepting nominations for the Sgt. Steven P. Mennemeyer Memorial Award. Mennemeyer died when his UH-60 Blackhawk crashed into a lake in the vicinity of Korean Village in Rubtbah, Iraq on August 8, 2006. Mennemeyer was assigned to the 82nd Medical Company (Air Ambulance), Fort Riley, Kansas.

Eligible individuals include any criminal justice official, Veteran’s Court board member or mentor except those who currently are members of the Mennemeyer Award Committee. Additionally, they have demonstrated effective leadership or commitment and exhibited a sincere belief in and support of helping Veterans.

Written nominations shall be sent no later than April 1, 2022 to DMunden[at]co.clark.in.us It will be awarded at the Justice Services Conference in May.
