Our professional organization utilizes the services of an experienced lobbyist, Glenna Shelby of LegisGroup Public Affairs, LLC.
Ms. Shelby provides POPAI with a great deal of support during the legislative sessions and during the Interim Study Committee term. She advises POPAI about probation related issues and the impact of proposed legislation. She monitors and reviews all legislation that’s introduced, watching for proposed legislation that may affect POPAI members. She communicates regularly with the POPAI Board and provides a weekly update regarding all bills that are being followed by POPAI. This is a benefit of POPAI membership.
I have posted the most recent legislative update in the POPAI “Members Only” area of our website. There are a number of very important bills that will have significant impact on probation in Indiana.
