The POPAI Board accepted the resignation of Vice-President Susan Bentley and we are seeking a Certified Probation Officer Member to complete the current term which ends on September 21, 2023.

In addition to the commitments listed on the Intent to Run form, according to our bylaws:

The Vice-President shall be responsible for the supervision of individuals, businesses, and entities contracted to perform services for the Association. The Vice President shall act as the legislative liaison for the Association keeping abreast of all legislative issues relating to the field of probation or which may affect the members of the Association. The Vice-President is one of the Officers of the Association and should a vacancy occur in the office of President, the Vice-President shall assume the office.

Collected forms, as directed by our bylaws, will be considered by the remaining members of the POPAI Board and the Vice-President will be appointed by Board vote at the June Meeting.

Intent to Run forms for the Vice-President Vacancy are due June 5, 2023 at noon.
