The Center for Lay Ministries’ Bliss House will have its final Valentine Bliss charity event Saturday, Feb. 11.
The event will include appetizers, dinner, a silent auction and brief ceremony (dressy-casual attire).
Also during the event, the Harrison County Probation Office will be honored with the Sue LaRue Award for its continued support of the CLM Bliss House.
The public is invited to support and attend this Valentine event to support the mission of the Bliss House, which is to provide programs and housing to women in the area community who are recovering from addictions.
The Harrison County Probation Office has provided ongoing support to the Bliss House for many years. During the past year, it has supported and encouraged the new BH director, Tiffany Hutchins, through a time of transition.
“Harrison County Probation has repeatedly shown they truly are concerned about their clients and believe in the value of recovery,” according to a BH spokesperson. “Their dedication and passion makes them invaluable to the BH residents and staff. Harrison County Probation makes regular trips to the BH to check on their clients and are constantly in contact with them about their progress.”
Affordable sponsorships are available ($600 table sponsors) for this event that will take place at the Louisville Slugger Field Hall of Fame.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for appetizers and bidding on the silent auction. Tickets are $60 per person, and reservations must be made prior to Feb. 3.
