The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention supported Second Chance Month to help individuals, communities, and agencies across the country recognize the importance of reentry and their role in supporting safe and successful reentry—building second chances!

The National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC) hosted Second Chance Month. Together with the American Institutes for Research, Vera Institute of Justice, CSG Justice Center, RTI International, and more, the NRRC hosted resources, videos, podcasts, live learning events and webinars during the month of April to support the justice field and Second Chance Act grantees with their reentry programs.

In addition to opening and closing remarks, events and their related resources cover a range of topics essential to successful reentry, including:

Reentry Basics
Education, Employment, and Housing
Behavioral Health, Family Supports, and Youth and Young Adults
Evaluation and Sustainability
