Technology:

The Technology Committee held a phone conference on June 2, 2004. It was reported that since Lori has been submitting the membership list to Matt Taylor by renewal dates there has been fewer complaints regarding passwords. To try to get more responses on the poll questions, the poll question and the calendar were reversed on the website. The committee discussed ways to get more members to use the bulletin board (community forum). The Committee had been discussing creating an area on the website concerning different probation programs from around the state. It was mentioned that the Judicial Center recently sent a letter to the Chiefs asking for information regarding their juvenile programs. Don will contact the Judicial Center to see if this will also be done for the adults and if this information will be placed on their website. The Committee is requesting that District Representatives contact all probation departments in their district to see if they have a homepage and if they would like to have their link placed on the POPAI website.
